Cooking Guide
Making the Falafel
Drain and thoroughly dry the chickpeas.
Add the chickpeas, onion, parsley, cilantro, cumin, salt, coriander, garlic and lemon zest to a food processor.
Pulse briefly 5-10 times until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Do not over process the mixture as this will turn to paste.
Roll the mixture into even ball shapes.
Heat the olive oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
Add the falafel mix in evenly in the pan
Cook for 1-2 minutes, turning the balls until golden brown on all sides.
Once cooked place the falafel balls to cool down slightly before serving.
Mix the greek yogurt with the tahini, and add salt.
Place the Doritos® Nacho Cheese on a plate.
Break the falafel balls in half and place them on top of the Doritos® Nacho Cheese.
Drizzle with salsa.
Pour the tahini sauce over it and sprinkle with jalapeño slices.
Garnish with chopped parsley and cilantro leaves.
Finally, squeeze the juice of one lemon over the top.
