Cooking Guide
Combine water, honey, olive oil, and yeast in a large bowl. Mix with a whisk.
Crush the Lays Classic and add to the bread flour, along with salt. Mix with the water and yeast mixture with a large spoon or spatula until well combined. Scrape down the sides and cover the bowl for 30 minutes.
Stretch and fold the dough on all 4 sides with wet hands.
Cover the bowl and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Repeat the stretching and folding process 3 more times every 30 minutes.
After the final stretch, cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate overnight.
If you want to speed up the process, leave the dough at room temperature for 30-40 minutes.
Grease a deep American football-shaped baking dish with olive oil.
Fold the dough carefully one last time and place it in the tin. Drizzle with olive oil.
Cover and leave it to rise for at least 1 hour.
Arrange the toppings on top in a shape that matches the shape of the football, making sure they are oiled to prevent them from burning.
Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake the focaccia for about 20-25 minutes (until the top is golden brown and crispy).
Remove from the oven and wait at least 10-15 minutes before cutting into it.
